MG Musha Gundam Mk-II (Tokugawa Ieyasu) English Color Guide

MG Musha Gundam Mk-II (Tokugawa Ieyasu) Color Guide

A limited edition release of the recently released Master Grade Musha Gundam Mk II. This time dubbed as the Tokugawa Ieyasu variant. I can't see anything different though aside from the color scheme. But that's just me, haven't really looked into it that well either.

Tokugawa Ieyasu was the first Shogun of Japan, wherein he was able to unite the entire warring country under him. I first came into knowledge of Ieyasu via the novel of James Clavell, Shogun. Well, the book of James Clavell really wasn't about Ieyasu, but rather he based the story on Ieyasu's rise to power while changing the names of the characters to suit the novel.

Well actually I watched the Shogun tv series first as a kid because it was big hit in the household and because there was only one tv in the house at that time you ended up having to watch it too*snicker* I remembered being enthralled with the sword fights as well as the beauty of the katana blade.

I'm a huge fan of James Clavell's books. When I have time I actually like to re-read all of his books. They're quite long though, with the good ones going for about a thousand pages... in small print! Which makes me realize that they don't seem to make books like those anymore. The well researched, epic types... then again, its probably because I haven't been keeping up with whats hot in the world of literature... hehehe
