Blast from the past! The RGM-79(G) Ground Type that was released by Bandai as a 1/100 Master Grade Model Kit. This particular mobile suit came from the Mobile Suit Gundam: 08th MS Team anime series. This GM Type was configured for ground warfare and therefore adapted to battling in a non-zero gravity environment while also being more resistant to the harsh earth climates.

Bandai HG 1/144 Gundam Ez8 English Manual & Color Guide

Released this April by Bandai was the Gundam Ez8 from 08th MS Team OVA series as a 1/144 High Grade model kit. The 08th MS Team OVA is one of my favorite Gundam series. It brought a breath of fresh air into the Gundam franchise by introducing the Ground War aspect of the campaign and the need for team cooperation in fighting the war.

Bandai MG 1/100 RX-79(G) Gundam Ground Type English Color Guide

Released in 2000 by Bandai was the Master Grade version of the RX-79(G) Gundam from 08th MS Team. The 08th MS Team anime delves on the ground war aspect of the One Year War where mobile suits work together in tandem with armored units and infantry. Central to the story are the exploits of Shiro Amada and the 08th MS Team of the Earth Federation as they try to help push back the invading Zeon Forces.

Bandai 1/35 UC Hard Graph EFGF MS[G] Platoon Briefing Set English Manual & Color Guide

Featured in the 1/35 UC Hard Graph EFGF MS[G] Platoon Briefing Set of Bandai's is the M353A4 Bloodhound hovercraft vehicle from the Mobile Suit Gundam 08th MS Team OVA. This was released in January of 2007 and is part of the UC Hard Graph line of model kits that are 1/35th in scale. This line of model kits could be likened to the popular 1/35 Armor series made by model kit manufacturers. This isn't your regular snapfit kit as some glue and skill is required when building.

Bandai 1/35 UC Hard Graph: Zeon Mobile Scout Set English Manual & Color Guide

From the UC Hard Graph line of model kits by Bandai was the Zeon Mobile Scout set that was released in 2006. This is a 1/35 scale model kit that comes with a Wappa bike-like hover craft that can fit 1 person sitting. The kit also comes with another figure in a standing position with binoculars on a tripod. This particular unit was used during the One Year War when Zeon forces descended on Earth for an invasion.

The RX-79[G] Gundam Ground Type which was the main mobile suit featured in 08th MS Team OVA. Quite a good series actually if you ask me because of the unique way with which they featured a side story. The conflict in this one was set in an obscure jungle and because of which the dynamics of warfare were slightly different than normal.

Bandai HG 1/144 Gouf Custom English Manual & Color Guide

MS-07B-C Gouf Custom from the 08th MS Team OVA series. Released this year was a newer version of the High Grade kit. This mobile suit played a pivotal part in the defense of a Zeon base from the attacking Earth Federation forces. Piloted by Norris Packard, the MS-07B-C Gouf helped neutralize artillery Guntanks that were bombarding the retreating Zeon forces.

Bandai MG 1/100 GM Sniper Color Guide and Paint Conversion Chart

The RGM-79[G] GM Sniper from Gundam: 08th MS Team. If memory serves me correctly, this Mobile Suit appeared in the latter part of the OVA during the final remaining battles between the Federation forces and Zeon on earth.

Bandai HG 1/144 RX-79(G) Gundam The Ground War Set English Manual & Color Guide

A 1/144 High Grade model kit set consisting of the mecha from the Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team anime OVA. Namely the RX-79(G) and some Hover trucks. I finished watching the 08th MS Team recently. I started it last year then only got past the first episode. I think its because I found it slow starting that got me bored with. Despite that, I'd say that it was indeed a good anime series in my book, not spectacular but good.
