Bandai HG 1/144 RGM-89 Jegan English Manual & Color Guide

RGM-89 Jegan from the Char's Counterattack anime made into a 1/144 High Grade model kit by Bandai. The Jegan takes over from the venerable GM as the mass produced mobile suit for the Earth Federation forces. The Stark Jegan, a variant of the Jegan can be seen in the currently showing Gundam Unicorn OVA.

Stanley Professional Painter's Masking Tape

Was looking for an alternative to the Tamiya Masking tape that modelers usually use for masking a model kit prior to painting. Based from reviews I read I see a lot of positive reviews as to the performance of the Tamiya masking tape for giving very fine painting lines necessary for the scale that modelers are working with.

Bandai 1/144 HG OO Raiser (GN Condensor Type) English Manual and Color Guide

Got surprised that the 00 Raiser of Setsuna F. Seie loses its twin drives and has to be hooked up to a GN Condenser at the Gundam 00 Movie. This version made into a model kit by Bandai is a 1/144 High Grade. What a sad fate for an iconic mobile suit, I don't know about you, but I actually get emotionally attached to the mecha in an anime and feel sad whenever something bad happens to it.

Bandai HG 1/144 Sinanju English Manual, Color Guide & Paint Conversion Chart

MSN-06S Sinanju of Char Aznable clone, Full Frontal. Can't wait to see this in all its animated glory in the upcoming episode two of the Gundam Unicorn OVA coming out next month. Prior to this 1/144 High Grade release, there has already been a master grade version of this. Even saw a titanium coated master grade version.

Bandai MG 1/100 RGZ-95 ReZEL English Manual, Color Guide & Paint Conversion Chart

Available this month is Riddhe Marcenas' RGZ-95 ReZEL made into a Master Grade kit by Bandai. This particular mobile suit came from Gundam Unicorn. According to literature from the Gundam Unicorn English site, the RGZ (Refined Gundam Zeta) was developed for the purpose of mass producing the Zeta Gundam. Eight units of the RGZ-ReZEL have been made and they are operating off the Nahel Argama.

I'm starting to wonder why this is so considering that its already nearing December so Asia should be expecting cooler weather... oh well, chalk it up to global warming. The 1/144 High Grade RX-93-V2 Hi-V Gundam GPB Color from Gunpla Builders Beginning. Its an anime about kids building gunpla from what I've read. Nice that they've decided to include their own version of the Hi-Nu Gundam in this anime. I always loved the design of the MG Hi-Nu Gundam and consider it one of my want-to-buys.

I've long resisted putting up a model kit gallery page because I thought it would be giving in to my vanity, considering that I don't think my kits are spectacularly built enough to merit one. Prudence however finally won over along with common sense.

Bandai 1/100 GN-001 Gundam Exia English Manual and Color Guide

Was looking for the translated manual of the non-grade 1/100 GN-001 Gundam Exia and couldn't find it. I don't remember translating the manual either so it was most likely not translated. I suddenly was interested in the non-grade 1/100 Gundam Exia after building the 1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia last week. Was never really into close-combat type Gundams but after seeing how the producers of the show designed Gundam Exia to fight I was finally impressed by the premise of a melee type mobile suit.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 3

Been watching season 3 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars which just started up recently and it rekindled my love for this franchise. I mean who doesn't love Star Wars? This CGI based cartoon series came out in 2008 and follows the campaign of the Republic against the separatist forces leading up to Episode 3 of the Star Wars movie where Anakin Skywalker transforms to Darth Vader.

1/100 SVMS-010 Over Flag Build Part I

Previously I've decided upon the 1/100 SVMS-010 Over Flag as my next build. So to kick things off is the all important cleaning of the plates by means of warm water, some dishwashing detergent and an old tooth brush. I do this to remove left over mold release agent that could still be on the plates so that it won't affect the paint from sticking on the parts.

Brave Gokin 34 Chojin Sentai Baratack by CM's Corporation

Saw this at Amiami today and it sure brought back memories. Its a CM's Corporation toy of the Baratack robot. One of the first giant robot series that I enjoyed as a kid. Thinking about it now, because of my age at that time, I had no idea as to what the anime was about. But what I really liked was the theme song. This toy is a die cast toy that stands 140mm tall.

Once again I'm in my third most favorite step of the model build process. Selecting which model kit to build next. Just yesterday I finished building the 1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia of Setsuna F. Seie. Currently I have three kits in my inventory of unbuilt kits; the 1/100 Gundam Astray Red Frame, the 1/100 Over Flag and the 1/100 Gundam Arios.

1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia Build Part XI

Finally finished building the 1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia of Setsuna F. Seie from the Season 1 of Gundam 00. Right now I'm basking in the afterglow of a completed kit and I have to say that it really does feel nice just sitting back and watching this finished kit after all the hard work put into it.

1/100 GN-003 Gundam Kyrios Retouch

Couldn't resist, decided to take time off from the 1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia to retouch the 1/100 Gundam Kyrios I built last year with some Bonsy Dull Clear lacquer paint and some panel lining with a 0.5mm mechanical pencil.

1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia Build Part X

All that's left to build really... oh yeah, there is still the hilts of the remaining beam sabers and daggers.... but that's just a trifle. The tricky part of this next build is applying some chrome paint on the edges of the blade of the GN Sword. Dunno why I started to suddenly hate taping up a part for painting?

1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia Build Part IX

Its been a very busy weekend for me when it comes to building the 1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia. Actually was able to finish a lot of stuff on the build. First shot was me assembling the legs. The inner mecha parts were colored using Pylox Metallic Graphite. The white parts were colored using Pylox Pure White flat, the red parts Pylox Fire Red, the yellow parts, Pylox Caterpillar Yellow then finished off with a coat of Bosny Dull Lacquer (clear coat). For primer I used Bosny Plastic Primer and TOA Plastic Primer.

The CB-002 Raphael Gundam of Tiera Erde from the Gundam 00 Awakening of the TrailBlazer movie. Not sure if this mobile suit supersedes his previous mobile suits, the Virtue and the Seravee because its designation is different. Previous suits of his had "GN" on its designation, this one begins with a "CB." Similar to the designation given to Ribbon's Gundam.

The GN-011 Gundam Harute of Allelujah Haptism from the Gundam 00 Movie: Awakening of the TrailBlazer. This mobile suit comes after the Gundam Arios and Gundam Kyrios that were both flown by Allelujah Haptism.

Bandai HG 1/144 GPB-X80 Beginning Gundam English Manual and Color Guide

GPB-X80 Beginning Gundam from Gunpla Builders anime series. If I understand the literature correctly, this is suppose to be an anime on starting building Gundam Model Kits. Great that Bandai tries to look after the next generation Gunpla builders.
