If I was allowed to build only one kit from the entire Universal Century line for the rest of my life, then that would be the Master Grade Hi Nu Gundam. I always loved the design of the Hi-Nu Gundam. Whenever I see the visage of it, it triggers just the right impulses on my synapses to register in my mind as to that which can be defined as a thing of beauty. Rightly so it is a thing of beauty. What with the sleek lines, subtle curves and minute detailing. Majestic... just purely majestic.
Was ultimately excited too with the news that a Version Ka was going to be released by Bandai. What I saw this the first time I thought it was a shade of blue, so I got surprised upon reading the color guide and discovering that it is in fact a shade purple. Not that I'm color blind of anything, but the light shade of blue of the original MG Hi Nu Gundam really stuck in my mind and formed a paradigm.
Like most kits MG kits of late, the Hi Nu Gundam ver Ka is capable of receiving a green LED unit for lighting gimmicks. But unfortunately, that has to be bought separately.
The 1/100 Master Grade Hi Nu Gundam Ver Ka is selling for $ at Amazon.
