Released in October of 2012 by Kotobukiya was the Hresvelgr=Ater. It is a 1/100 scale model kit from their in house developed Frame Arms line of model kits. Aside from its base robot mode, the Hresvelgr=Ater has the capability to transform to airplane/flying mode by the movement of some parts.
I was actually impressed with the complexity and the innovation of the design of this model kit as well as the unique color scheme. Considering of course that it uses a common frame architect base, you'd think that there wouldn't be anything further that could be done with this design, then here comes Kotobukiya coming out with this very unique kit. Well placed implementation of colored clear parts to come out a beautiful piece.
The Frame Arms line uses a common inner frame in all variants of this model line, known as the frame architect from which the specific models parts can then be added upon. In turn, this usually means that kit bashing will be easier to accomplish with kits coming from the Frams Arms line.
The 1/100 NSG-X2 Hresvelgr=Ater is selling for $$$ at Amazon, 3050 yen at amiami, 3520 yen at HobbyLink Japan, 3740 yen at Hobby Search
