1/35 Dual Model Kit Optimus Prime Color Guide & Manual

Dual Model Kit (DMK) Optimus Prime Model Kit by Takara Tomy from the Transformers: Dark of the Moon movie. I'm not really a fan of the Transfomer Movie Toys released but this version of the iconic Optimus Prime by Takara Tomy caught my eye. Was truly impressed with the realistic rendition of the model kit in keeping with the design in the movie.

Haven't had time to catch the movie yet as its been a very busy and tiring month. Looks like I'm left with having to wait for the DVD release because with my wife along, we will be catching the Harry Potter movie instead of this *snicker* I'm also staying away from the reviews of the movie as I don't want my movie experience to be spoiled by them. Transformers for me is that type of movie where you don't give a damn as to what the critics say.

Construction Manual and Color Guide for the 1/35 Dual Model Kit Optimus Prime by Takara Tomy was translated to English from the Japanese Manual posted at Dalong's Model Kit Review site. Great color guide actually from Takara Tomy as it lists already the GSI Creos color designation along with the color name. Aside from the standard solvent based colors, some of the colors listed are for the Mr. Color super metallic line of paints.
