GI Joe Low Light Figure

GI Joe Low Light Figure

When Low Light came out in 1986 I quickly snatched it up together with Leatherneck. Low Light at that time was my most favorite figure till Lt. Falcon came along.

Low Light was a night fighting specialist as depicted in his file card but what I really liked about him was the fact that he had a sniper rifle as part of his equipment. As mentioned before, I've always liked the sniper character because of their sharpshooting abilities and the fact that their presence in a battlefield acts as a force multiplier for whichever army has them. Of course now its hard to be a sniper anymore in the modern battlefield because army's are developing sniper detection systems.

I could never understand what this gadget thatwas on the left thigh of Low Light. It was depressed and looked like something could be attached to it. I tried the Uzi but that didn't seem to work.

What really attracted me to the Low Light figure was the sniper rifle with Night Scope and supressor. The sniper rifle also had a small detachable bipod that could be folded

I always liked mounting the sniper rifle at the back of Low Light when posing it.
