Thank You Lord for this chance to make gunpla. Though it can never compare to the Awesomeness of your work.
Thought I'd start this post by giving Thanks to God. People take it for granted that they have the chance to build model kits.
Its an expensive hobby and I once thought of quiting because I couldn't stand to be buying these expensive kits (well from my neck of the woods anyway). God however found a way for me to pursue this hobby. That's a testament to the power of prayer and faith.
But if you ask me, that's not the greatest example of the power of prayer I ever witnessed. I once helped prayed for a man who was being besieged by a corrupt man. A few months later we found out that that corrupt man killed himself. That experience made me both love God more and fear Him.
Anyway, continuing this build post. Previous build post of this can be found here.
Finished up painting the arms today and assembling them. As with my usual builds, I skip the head assembly and reserve it for last.
Soft light blue rubber parts are also found in the forearms. These act as conduits for the GN drive to supply power to the Gundam Exia.
All nicely tucked in now. For this part I used Pylox Pure White Flat and Pylox Metallic Graphite for the dark parts. Then coated it with Bonsy Dull Lacquer.
Not sure if this is a GN Condenser. Similar to the main thing found at the chest. Sticker of this "thingy" is placed on.
Mounted on the forearm.
Then the "clear" cover goes over it. This was the part I messed up, as mentioned in the previous post. Where I thought spraying clear lacquer would give it a glossy effect.
Here's the upper arm part. With also the soft rubbery part being attached to it.
Here is the upper arm attached to the shoulder part.
Then closed closed up with the other half of the shoulder.
Here's both arms already.
And I just couldn't resist with the completed arms that I decided to stick it on the torso already. Looks good.
As with the head, I usually save the hands for last also. Did the panel lining today with the 0.5 mm mechanical pencil. Tomorrow I'll seal it up with the Bosny Dull Lacquer.
Part VII of this build can be found here.
