1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia Build Part VII

1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia

I just spent my entire alloted time for the day on this project wet sanding a noodle cup full of parts... I tell you, I'm pooped! The massive leg parts of the 1/60 GN-001 Exia did me in today. And to think that there are still a couple more parts that couldn't fit in that cup.

Like these leg parts... and some other armor parts for the leg.

But its gratifying to see the arms finally with a coat of dull lacquer on that serves the purpose of sealing in the panel lines made with a 0.5mm mechanical pencil. Was able to spray them on quickly iduring the morning.

Well the bad news is that due to some stressful times these past few weeks I've started smoking again. Model kit building was supposed to be my stress outlet that will stop me from lighting up. Hopefully after this pack I can get on the non-smoking horse again.

In relation to smoking... I've picked up this habit of tapping the butt of my unlighted cigarette. I saw another person doing it before and didn't really know what it was all about till I tried it. This is the effect.

It pushes down the tabacco and compresses it leaving about a 3mm gap between the tip of the cigarette and the tabacco. Don't notice any difference however in the taste of the tabacco.

Anyway, previous post of this build can be found here. Part VIII of this build can be found here.
