Had some time the past few days to continue my build of the 1/48 Arii Chance Vought F4U-1A Corsair. At this point I had finished building the main fuselage and prepped it for painting by applying some masking.

Bandai MG 1/100 Jesta English Manual, Paint Conversion & Color Guide

Released in April by Bandai, the 1/100 Master Grade Jesta from Gundam Unicorn. Prior to this the Jesta was already released as a 1/144 High Grade model kit. Gundam LED lights can be installed to light up the head unit, this however is sold separately and not included with the kit. Definitely one of my most favorite designs to come out of the Gundam Unicorn Universe, primarily for that rugged look.

Bandai HG 1/144 GSX-401FW Stargazer Gundam English Color Guide

Released in 2006 by Bandai was the GSX-401FW Stargazer as a 1/144 High Grade model kit. Part of the Gundam Seed universe, the Stargazer Gundam was featured in a series of anime shorts collectively titled as Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73: Stargazer. The main mecha in those shorts of course was the Strike Noir of Sven Cal Bayan

Released in 2012 of December by Kotobukiya was the 1/100 Baselard from the Frame Arms line of model kits. The Frame Arms is an originally designed model kit line by Kotobukiya that features uniquely designed mecha with interchangeable parts

Bandai HG 1/144 Gundam AGE-1 Full Glansa English Manual & Color Guide

Released this month by Bandai is the Gundam AGE-1 Full Glansa as a 1/144 High Grade model kit. The Gundam AGE-1 Full Glansa comes from the Gundam AGE anime series.

Real Steel's Atom by ThreeA up for Pre-Order already

From ThreeA comes Atom from the 2011 Real Steel Movie that starred Hugh Jackman. I was actually surprised that the movie did well at the box office, considering the overused premise of an robot winning it all. The effects and realism in the movie was something to behold however. Then again, I grew up in the movie age where there were no computer generated effects and most of all effects were composite work, so it doesn't really take much to impress me *snicker*

Bandai HG 1/144 Gundam Ez8 English Manual & Color Guide

Released this April by Bandai was the Gundam Ez8 from 08th MS Team OVA series as a 1/144 High Grade model kit. The 08th MS Team OVA is one of my favorite Gundam series. It brought a breath of fresh air into the Gundam franchise by introducing the Ground War aspect of the campaign and the need for team cooperation in fighting the war.

Sneak Peek at Bandai and ThreeZero Collaboration Mecha

Just got this news of an upcoming but still unnamed mecha release that will be a collaboration between toy designer ThreeZero and Bandai based from a design of Kunio Okawara.

Kotobukiya 1/72 HMM EZ-034 Geno Breaker Raven Ver English Manual & Color Guide

Released last November by Kotobukiya was the 1/72 scale Highend Master Model rendition of Raven's Geno Breaker from the Zoids anime series. Prior to this, Kotobukiya had already released a 1/72 HMM Geno Breaker.

Kotobukiya 1/72 HMM EZ-035 Lightning Saix Irvine Special English Manual & Color Guide

Released by Kotobukiya as a 1/72 Highend Master Model is Irvine's Lightning Saix from Zoids Guardian Force. Prior to this, Kotobukiya had already released a 1/72 HMM Lightning Saix. Most noticeable difference of this version is the mouth binder that grips between the fangs of the Lightning Saix. Always loved the design of the Lightning Saix, but then again, I've always been impressed with the way the creator of Zoids was able to "mechanize" animals.

Bandai MG 1/100 MSN-06S Sinanju English Manual, Paint Conversion & Color Guide

From Gundam Unicorn comes the MSN-06S Sinanju of series antagonist, Full Frontal. There was already a Sinanju Ver Ka release of this done ages ago, and Bandai gifts us with a more updated version. Which is great, because the producers of the OVA wouldn't have to be limited by the weapons and design of the Ver Ka release.

Bandai MG 1/100 ReZEL Type-C (Defenser A+B-Unit) (GR) English Manual & Color Guide

From the Gundam UC OVA comes the Earth Federations ReZEL Type-C (Defenser A+B-Unit) (GR), a variant of the base ReZEL it was commonly seen as being the standard mobile suit for the General Revil space battle ship. It also sports a different color scheme from the regular ReZEL's seen in the anime. This was released last March by Bandai as a 1/100 Master Grade model kit. Prior to that, a 1/144 High Grade kit of that was also released, albeit, of the B unit variety.
