Bandai HG 1/144 R-Gyagya English Manual & Color Guide

From Gundam Build Fighters comes the 1/144 High Grade R-Gyagya released by Bandai. In the anime series this particular mecha was used by Kaoruko Sazaki. I never liked the design of the Gyan, from which this mecha is based, but I have to say that this is a fresh concept that truly impressed me. Aside from the Gyan I thought it had shades of the Jagd Doga but upon checking I found out I was wrong or maybe it was the Sazabi? Hehehe... who cares, just as long as it looks great we shouldn't care about where it got its inspiration from.

Shunsuke Sudou's Mega-Shiki from Gundam Build Fighters released as a 1/144 High Grade model kit by Bandai. This particular mecha design was based off the Hyaku Shiki and the Delta Gundam. Nice and complex kit for a High Grade, I love how technology has expanded the design envelope and giving us designs that were once thought to be impossible to produce.

Released by Bandai is the Space Jahannam from Reconguista in G as a 1/144 High Grade model kit. Reconquista in G is the latest Gundam anime released and is penned by Gundam series creator Yoshiyuki Tomino himself. Hope he doesn't kill off all the characters in this one like he did in the previous ones *snicker*

So the Oscar results are in and I always like to look at the nominees for the Best Animated Feature Film, a welcome respite from the "grown up" nature of the awards. One film not included was the Penguins of Madagascar, which for me was the best animated movie of 2014.

The show's timeline comes a couple of years after the original Build Fighters series, where the theme still revolves around Gunpla Fighters competing against themselves for the title of the best gunpla builder ever.

Bandai 1/1000 Garmillas Warships Set 3 English Color Guide

Also translated this a while back but forgot to post it. It's the 1/1000 Garmillas Warships Set 3 from the rebooted Yamato 2199 anime series. Wasn't able to watch this series but I was a fan of the original. When I say "original" I mean the "Star Blazers" branded one that was dubbed in English. It was those earlier anime series like that that set me on this course of being a fan of Japanese animation.

It's finally done! As of this day all the posts of this site have finally been updated to its new location. Why did it take too long? Because Blogger has a 50 post a day limit. Considering that the site has about a thousand posts to its name, it really took quite a while. Then there were quite a few bugs that I couldn't understand why there were cases of double postings. Weird really. Plus I didn't really have the bandwidth to try and solve that trivial issue.
