Cobra Jet Pack
Released in 1987 by Hasbro for their GI Joe toyline was the Cobra Jetpack. The toy didn't come with a figure. I always considered this to be the upgrade to the old Cobra CLAW that Cobra used for infiltration. In the literature it was a one man jet pack armed with machine guns and air to air rockets.

Screener Micromesh alloy Jet intakes
Jet Exhaust Discharge Ventilators
Neutralizer AIM-44 Air to Air Missile loaded in one wing

Figure not included in the toy, just added for reference
I'm not sure, but I think this was the last GI Joe toy I ever got. I was reaching High School at this time and my interests have changed. I started noticing girls and was more into racing Remote Controlled cars. It didn't stop me from reading the Marvel Comic book series however. I really loved those Larry Hama penned comics.
At this stage I was starting to become turned off with GI Joe altogether because their vehicles were becoming more colorful and weirder. What kept me into the toyline was the comic book series really, because of Larry Hama's realistic writing style. At this stage I was veering more towards the Punisher line of comic books. I always considered The Punisher to be Marvel's less popular version of Batman.
