StarWars: The Clone Wars Season 3 Episode 17

StarWars: The Clone Wars Season 3 Episode 17

Boy am I happy that Episode 17 (Ghosts of Mortis) of Season 3 of the Clone Wars has finally ended. More specifically because they have finally put this story arc to rest. As posted before, I said that I never really liked it that much because it bordered on fantasy already instead of science fiction.

Qui Gon Jinn also makes his finally appearance in this episode, voiced of course by the very talented and much respected Liam Neeson. The first time I ever took notice of the acting talents of Liam Neeson was when he played Oskar Schindler in the Academy Award nominated Schindler's List. His performance there earned him an Academy Award for best actor (he eventually lost to Tom Hanks for his portrayal of a gay lawyer with AIDS in the movie Philadelphia)

Often times I wonder which is the better career path for an actor, to be nominated and have your talents acknowledged by your peers by being part of the Academy Awards? or to play a memorable character in a movie franchise that spans over 3 decades already? Either way, Liam Neeson is living the best of both worlds
