At this exact date last year, the first post of this blog was made. You could say that it was hardly creative as it was your garden variety "Hello World" post, but my what happens in a year.
This blog transitioned from a Starcraft fanboy blog to a mecha anime site where I could pour out my love for all things mecha. A lot in part to my rediscovery of the Macross Anime series and finally getting some closure on a 23 year old question as to how the Macross series ended. Thanks to this blog I've discovered the Gundam Anime franchise that I've always wanted to watch but never had time nor resources to do properly.
Of course it has to be pointed out that owing to its transition the domain name of the site was changed from its original starcraft roots to something more apt to its mecha anime theme. Then there was the redesign of the frontpage. Most importantly, because of watching anime in its native language, I've re-connected with my Japanese studies and got on the certification horse again to try to get certified in the Language. Thanks also to this blog I've also started building model kits again that I so loved to do when I was a kid.
The last year was good and I'm hoping and praying that 2010 will usher in a better and brighter year for this blog. God Willing.
