Just playing around with camera again and trying out some different settings. For my subject I used the Yamato 1/60 VF-1S Valkyrie of Hikaru Ichijou from Macross DYRL on whom the Yamato 1/60 GBP-1S armor is worn.
The GBP-1S armor was actually worn by the VF-1J of Hikaru Ichijou in the original SDF Macross anime that came out in the 80's. Why the VF-1S from DYRL is wearing it is in homage to my Bandai 1/55 VF-1S Strike Valkyrie that I had wearing a GBP-1S which I had since I was a boy.
The GBP-1S armor system packs quite a punch aside from the protection it offers its Valkyrie unit. The downside is that it doesn't allow the Valkyrie to transform to either its aircraft or gerwalk mode. To do that the armor has to be first ejected.
