Dark Knight Rises

Official Trailer to the Dark Knight Rises movie was released recently to wet our appetities. According to the trailer the movie will be shown in the Summer of 2012. Still a year off for fans of Christopher Nolan's interpretation of the Batman franchise.

Before Nolan came to reboot the Batman movie franchise, after Joel Schumacher ran it off a cliff, my most favorite of the Tim Burton films was the 1992 Batman Returns.

I really thought that Tim Burton's dark and gothic style of filming was a perfect match for the dark and brooding Batman persona. Schumacher made it glitzy and too hipster to that point that it already crossed the line of being "cheesy"
