According to CNN a massive 8.9 earthquake struck Japan just days after a 7.2 intensity one struck on Wednesday. Tsunami warnings were immediately sent to nearby countries to warn them of the possible tidal wave that could hit them. Info could also be found in Al Jazeera and USGS.
Just saw this posted on HobbyLink Japan's Website this post detailing the damage they incurred during the earthquake.
Godspeed Japan. Difficult times like these all I can offer up are prayers for a speedy recovery and that a lot of lives will be spared during the days ahead of rescue operations and possible aftershocks.
