49th Shizuoka Hobby Show 2010

Update(05/21/2010): More pictures of the 49th Shizuoka Hobby Show from BAKUC@facebook.

Update (05/15/2010): Check out these other pictures posted here, here, here, here, here.

Just saw this at HobbyStock blog (check out also here and here) and Amiami blog (check out also here, here and here), photos of theirs from the 49th Shizuoka Hobby Show. This is the venue where model kit companies come to showcase their latest products. I'll skip the rest and just focus on the stuff that pique my interest. I just love the Hobby Stock and Amiami blog, they always have great pictures of Hobby Shows in Japan.

49th Shizuoka Hobby Show 2010 Master Grade The O

Most notable for me was the announcement of the release of Paptimus Scirocco's "The O" mobile suit from Zeta Gundam in Master Grade form by Bandai. Its supposed to come out this summer so that could be anywhere between June to August and it will come at a whopping 12,600 yen price. But don't fret just yet as online sellers can usually knock 25~30% off the price when they sell it online. Shipping though could be a bit dicey because at that price it usually means that the product is very large. Here's a picture of it standing next to the Zeta Gundam.

Aside from that there was the announcement of the release of the HGUC GM Kai (August release), HGUC Shinanju (TBD release date), HGUC Delta+(TBD release date), HGUC Geara Zulu (Angelo's personal unit)(TBD release date)

Then there's the HG release of the next line of Gundam 00 model kits just in time for the Gundam 00 movie set to be released this year. Chiefly the HG Gundam 00 Quanta (August release, 1680 yen), Zabanya (august release, 1890 yen), Rafael Gundam (sept release, 2100 yen), Gundam Haruto (sept release, 1680 yen)

Here's a nice comparisson shot of the soon to be released MG Shin Musha Mk II Gundam with its older brother, the MG Shin Musha Gundam.

49th Shizuoka Hobby Show 2010 VF-25F Messiah 1/100 Alto Version

Macross Frontier -wise there was the announced release of a 1/100 VF-25F Messiah Alto version...*yawn*

49th Shizuoka Hobby Show 2010 1/72 VF-25F Tornado Messiah

Then there was the 1/72 Tornado Messiah of Alto Saotome *double yawn*

49th Shizuoka Hobby Show 2010 1/200 Destroyed Monster

Then there was the 1/200 Destroid Monster. Without decals I can't tell if it was the Destroid Monster from Macross Frontier. Not even sure if this is destined to ship because it says in the label tag that this is a test shot.
