I got the ribbing of a lifetime as a young boy when I referred to the Revell 1/48 A-10 Thunderbolt II that I had built as being "Heavenly" armed instead of "Heavily" armed.
That incident is something that I always remember whenever I start putting on the weapons systems of any scale model or toy that I'm currently working on. Which was what happened when I was installing the unguided missile pods and Swatter missile racks of the 1/48 Mil-24D Hind.
With 1/48 Mil-24D Hind scale model kit by Revell, there is the option to install Swatter missiles or a bazooka rack on the outer pylons of the wing. The Swatter missiles looked way much cooler than the bazookas, hence me going with that choice.
Only a few more things to work on with the Hind then I'm done. Hope the weather holds, like it did today, for the next couple of days so that I can finish up on this.
