Announced today at Japan based online hobby retailer, HobbyLink Japan, was a promo of 20% Off on the cost of All Shipping (SAL, EMS, FedEx etc) if you purchase between December 13 (2PM JST) and December 19 (6PM JST). Quite nice actually, considering that you'll be able to save a ton on shipping.
From the literature on the promo it says:

From 2pm December 13 until 6pm December 19, 2012 (JST), you can enjoy a 20% discount off of your shipments from HLJ!* That includes all shipping methods (yes, even FedEx!), plus any Ship Now or Private Warehouse orders. It's simple: anything shipped during the campaign period gets the 20% discount! Just have your items shipped during the campaign period, and enjoy the savings!
