Posted a couple of days back at Yamato Toys official site and up for pre-order already at the major online Japanese hobby shops is the promo page for the 1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-1S Valkyrie TV version with optional parts.
It differs from the regular 1/60 VF-1S by the inclusion of optional parts in the kit. This release is part of the 30th Anniversary of Macross which is being celebrated this year. The toy will be released by May of this year
The optional parts are two side covers (colored white) for the VF-1S in Battroid mode, as well as a cover for the back of the neck. Then there is the seat for the head that can be used to recreate a scene in the Macross anime where the pilot seat lifts up so that the pilot can embark or disembark in Battroid mode. Although the actual scene was done by the VF-1D Valkyrie in the anime and never by the VF-1S.
