Metal Heroes Series: SoundWave

Metal Heroes Series: SoundWave

Metal Hereoes Series Soundwave from Transformers the movie series. Soundwave comes out different from the Boombox we've grown accustomed to in the Transformers G1 series. Like most Metal Heroes Series these diecast toys issued by Hasbro do not transform but rather have an emblem of robot mode molded on the underside.

This current variant is designed to look like a tricked out van that still has some of its boombox roots attached to it. Specifically I like the tape deck look that was recreated at the sides of the van. Unlike the regular diecast car toys that we grew up with this thing lacks any interior details like steering wheels, seats, etc.

These type of toys are designed for kids aged 3 and up, no detachable parts here that they could accidentally swallow. This is also good for kids who lack the logical skills and dexterity to transform a regular Transformers toy.
