AirBrush Hose 1/8" to 1/4"

1/8" to 1/4" Airbrush hose

Update:This hose actually disintegrated due to the heat, was able to fix it with aquarium hose.

Bought a 1/8" to 1/4" hose from Roy Airbrush(ebay seller). According to the shop literature they are a seller based in Taiwan. I'm going to use this for the Double Action Airtex Beauti Airbrush that I got last year. The hose is supposed to be 10 ft in length uncoiled but i haven't really checked whether it goes that long or not, I wouldn't really care if it didn't go that far either *snicker*

Below is a shot of the hose in its natural coiled position right next to a 12" ruler for reference. The first time my son saw this he said that it was "Daddy's telephone"... hehehe

Here's a shot of the 1/8" plug, this will connect to the Airtex Beauti Airbrush

And another shot of the 1/8" plug at a different angle.

Here's both the 1/8" and 1/4" plug together. To lock the 1/4 plug to the tank or air compressor I'd recommend using a wrench in order to get a tight and leak free connection.

And this is me trying to get artistic... hehehe

Tried the hose already with the tank and the Airbrush and it works perfectly. As of now I still haven't figured out what to paint using the airbrush. Despite the Airtex Beauti being rated for Lacquer based paints, I've decided to just stick to using it on the less toxic water based Tamiya Acrylic. This will make cleaning easier and I hope by this the risk of unintentionally damaging the airbrush will be lessened.
