Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

May 20, 2011 is the date to look out for. That's the date when Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is going to make its appearance on the big screen.

I love the series and I hope this time around Johnny Depp gets to win an Academy Award for Best Actor. Jack Sparrow was truly a unique and beloved character, despite how dastardly his reputation is supposed to be. Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley aren't in this movie but aside from Johnny Depp there is still Geoffrey Rush (Captain Barbosa) to add original flavor to this expected cinematic master piece. New cast members are Penelope Cruz and Ian Mcshane who will play Blackbeard.

According to their page at IMDB, Gibbs will be returning in this installment of the franchise, but I wonder why the gang of Pintel, Ragetti, Cotton, Cotton's Parrot and Marty are not?
