A few days before Christmas my wife and I went to the mall to buy a gift for our nephew and I just happened to walk by the rack with GI Joe toys.
Having been a long time fan of GI Joe, with a stable of figures in my collection (which I still have to fix), I couldn't help but notice how crappy the re-issue of the 3.5 inch figures are. Mostly because of the quality of the plastic and the painting.
Then again, it could be because of the presence of hastily applied paint in the new vehicles compared to the originally issued ones which went without them that makes it ugly in my eyes.
I think I'm settling in nicely to that mindset of thinking that my generation was much better than today's generation... in short, I'm turning into an old f*rt already....hehehe
