Posted yesterday at Yamato Toys Twitter page, a picture of them doing a parts check then assembly of the soon to be released 1/60 VF-4G Lightning III from Macross. My heart skips a beat whenever I see any of toy release related to Macross, those released by Yamato Toys more especially *snicker*
A while back they already posted fully assembled pictures of the VF-4G in Fighter, Gerwalk and Battroid poses. The VF-4G is being released as part of the 30th Anniversary celebration of the Macross anime.
Update: 07/26/2012 Saw this new picture tweeted by Yamato Toys on the VF-4G assembled in fighter mode. Aside from the VF-4G in the picture, in the upper right picture in the upright position, seems to be Basara Nekki's giant speaker pod thingy from Macross 7... then again, I could be wrong *snicker*
