Avengers Movie 2012

There's a whole lot of reviews out there with regards to how great the Avengers movie was. So as one who sings the same tune as them, all I want to say now is Thank You.

Thank You to Joss Whedon and Zak Penn for penning such a great story, and of course to Joss Whedon for directing the movie. Thank You to Robert Downey, Jr.(Iron Man), Chris Evans (Capt America), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) for giving such superb character performances of the memorable super hero characters of my childhood. Least I forget, I want to Thank Clark Gregg for giving such a great portrayal of the always calm and collected Agent Phil Coulson.

I have to admit that while I was excited to see the Avengers movie, I had set the bar too low as to whether it would be a good movie or not. Just seeing amazing fight scenes and the heroes together in action would be enough for me. Comparing the plot of the other super hero movies that built up to the Avengers movie, I always thought that their plotlines weren't that complex and the ending could usually be easily figured out. But this Avengers movie really over delivered in terms of having a great story, great dialogue, one-liners and more than your usual amount of action scenes. To use an overused cliche, you'll be at the edge of your seat every minute of this movie.
