Just testing some camera settings again and this time I used the 1/60 GN-001 Gundam Exia I built a while back. I hold this kit with the highest regards. Chiefly because its BIG! Second, its a great model kit for its price point, which is just around the price of a Master Grade kit.
The Gundam Exia was the primary mecha of Setsuna F. Seie in Season 1 of the Gundam 00 anime series. The Exia is a close quarter combat specialist of the organization known as Celestial Being. Hence you will notice the lack of any long range weapons in its arsenal.
I really had fun building this kit and most of all, I love watching it in its place in my display case. The kid inside me agrees that nothing beats a Big toy. Of course I have to point out that its a model kit. And like with model kits, it shouldn't be played with. If you play with this toy the joints will wear out quickly and you'll have the arms and legs falling out.
I can't help but hope that Bandai makes a lot more of 1/60 line of model kits in this price class so that blokes like me can afford them. As a personal preference I find the size of the 1/60 to be just right, compared to the current 1/48's MegaSize that Bandai is releasing right now. But like I said, that's just a personal preference of mine.
