In line with the 30th Anniversary of Macross, Yamato Toys is re-releasing their iconic rendition of the VF-1D from the original SDF Macross anime series in 1/60th scale. Pre-orders have already started with the toys being set for release by next month (April of this year). The VF-1D is a tandem seat VF-1 Valkyrie and could be seen in the first few episodes of the Macross anime.
The difference between this and the previous version is that this one comes with additional Option Parts. Particularly the tandem ejection seats that can be seen in Battroid mode as well as a back plate and a set of side covers to be used also during Battroid mode.
