Posted today at Yamato Toys official site was the product information for the VF-17S Diamond Force ver. Just got giddy after seeing this. To be honest, I'm not really a fan of the Macross 7 anime, but despite that I am forever a fan of the brilliant designs of Shoji Kawamori.
This toy is scheduled to released in December of this year with a price of 23,436 yen. Official product page at Yamato Toys can be found here and here.
From this view, those hands sure look impressive, when you compare it against the regular hands of Yamato's VF-1 series. Unless of course those are optional hand types which don't open up and are of a fixed design, wherein they are really supposed to be impressive and functional... hehehe
