I found out today via this post from Yamato Toys that the release date for the highly anticipated 1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-17 Diamond Force and VF-19S Emerald Force variant from Macross 7 will be on December 2011 and November 2011. Both variable fighters came out in the Macross 7 series that aired during the 90's.
Fans of Macross 7 will really have something to look forward to this Christmas. Call me biased but I really love the Macross Toys that Yamato Toys puts out. Chiefly because of the amount of craftmanship and detail that they put in. I wouldn't recommend them however to people who want to play with their toys because the price of accuracy to design is sturdiness. Like I posted before, these are display toys, these things will eventually loosen or break if you keep transforming or moving the joints.
