I wrote a couple days back of the Raven toy that came with the MASK Kenner Catalog that I posted. Well here's the review of that toy. The toy came out in 1986 and was part of the good guys, or the guys from MASK. The Raven was a corvette that could transform to a seaplane.
That switch peeking out between the passenger door and the front tire is the switch that once you press down on flicks the front of the car with a spring action. Seaplane mode is achieved by flipping over the front of the car (by pressing on the switch), opening the doors to serve as the wings then lastly the back of the car pops up to expose the thrusters.
An orange circular disc saw actually fires out of the front of the car that is triggered by the button at the top. Sadly however I lost that disc saw.
Those are rubber tires on the wheels. Luckily they did not turn brittle even after all these years.
More pictures found at the succeeding pages.
Detailed interior features a seat belt to keep the figure in place.
I bought this toy in 1986, as you can see, rust has already formed on the screws.
The bank of thrusters is exposed when you push that button between the tail lights. Returning it to its hidden position is easily done by pressing down on the bank of thrusters.
Detailed dashboard can be seen in this shot.
Figure included is the driver of the Raven, Calhoun Burns. He wears the mask named "Gulliver" that has the power to shrink or enlarge objects. Knees bend but arms don't, but they can move along its axis
