Remembering Wayne's World 1 & 2

Suddenly remembered the Wayne's World movies this glorious Sunday Sabbath. What started out as a skit in Saturday Night Live by Mike Myers and Dana Carvey got spun off into a full blown movie in 1992 then a sequel in 1993. Probably my most favorite scene from the Wayne's World movies is the fight scene between Wayne and Cassandra's Dad (see above).

Of course I can't forget to mention the Bohemian Rhapsody scene that practically introduced the music of Queen to a whole new generation of fans.

According to Wikipedia, one of the earliest "That's what she said" gags was used in Wayne's World. Whether that's true or not, here's the clip below.

It was heartwarming to see this clip at youtube of Mike Myers and Dana Carvey reprising their roles in the 2008 MTV Movie Awards

Update: Wow, surprised to find this fairly recent spot from SNL.
