Update: Watched it already, the action sequence was good but the story was kinda weak.
Been reading a lot of chatter on the web about how good the Green Hornet movie is. To be honest I had my doubts with Seth Rogen being cast in the lead role because of his comedic reputation. Turns out that it was one of the main things that made the movie great. Still saw it being played in the local movie house so hopefully I can still catch it.
As a young boy I used to watch re-runs of the Green Hornet in our local channels during the afternoon. I actually can't remember what the story was all about but I did enjoy the cool car (The Black Beauty). Especially the part where it flips over in the garage. Of course only now I realized that this would be difficult to do because of the chance of the oil, fluids and fuel leaking out *snicker*
It was only later when I grew up that I found out that Bruce Lee played the role of Kato in the original series. Speaking of Kato, I actually thought that he was played by John Cho when in reality he was played by Jay Chou. The similar sounding name and the face was what got me... hehehe
