Just wanted to greet everybody a Happy Easter Sunday. I share the joy of my fellow Christians for the day that we commemorate the risen Christ. The lenten season is important as it is a season of self sacrifice and denial so as to remind ourselves of the importance of Christ in our life. In the master plan of God, he sacrificed his only begotten son so that he could free us from the slavery of sin.
One of the things I like about Easter Sunday is that it is a day that the family gathers together. Unlike last year where we weren't able to prepare any Easter Egg hunting activities, this year we were able to prepare for it. I spent Saturday evening helping our relatives paint the eggs and prepare the prizes. That is part and parcel of the Easter activity that makes it all the more fun, preparing the eggs and not just looking for it. Of course it won't be us who will be looking for the eggs, but rather our children, nephews and nieces.
