I'm starting to understand now why Wolverine is such a favorite character to draw. Probably because of the nature of the guy, which is just pure raw emotion. Still having fun getting in touch with a favorite childhood past time of mine, which is sketching. This time decided to focus on trying to draw Wolverine, from the X-Men. I notice that the problem with my wolverine is that he comes out a bit chubby... *snicker*
Once I started drawing Wolverine, I couldn't help but to try drawing his nemesis, Sabertooth, as well
Tried it with a very square jaw.
I also am trying to vary the shape of his fins(?) those pointy things on his head?, or do you call it horns. He ends up looking like a bat because of the changes I made *snicker*
Next to a random girl
Throwing in Cyclops in the mix
This actually wasn't supposed to be Wolverine, I was just drawing the right arm to practice muscle definition, then it became the chest, then the left arm, then what the heck, lets stick Wolverine's face on that one... hehehe
What's the point of this entire exercise? Nothing really, just enjoying sketching whilst in the dinner table with my family. After I have eaten of course and cleared my plate from the table. In the course of small talk with my wife and kid, I noticed that the little one is starting to get interested in drawing because of seeing me sketch. I hope it's a positive influence in his life and not something negative.
