These past few days I've been sketching in my sketch pad. I think I'm addicted to it already. Kinda felt good really being able to do something that I've loved doing when I was a young boy. Two days ago I finished sketching the picture above of Ironman. Today I suddenly got the urge to try coloring it in Adobe Photoshop.
So I took that sketch then scanned it as a black and white picture so that I could process it in Adobe Photoshop. Iron Man has always been one of my favorite characters in the Marvel Universe. I guess its because of the technological theme of the comic book series. Always been a fan of robots and all things mech related, so it was only natural that I would gravitate to comic books or stories with these kind of themes.
A couple of hours later this was what came out of that endeavor. Nothing spectacular but I'm happy how it came out considering my meager skill set. I learned how to do this from a single jpeg posted in Reddit before, showing the entire process of how to process a sketch in Photoshop and beautify it using layers. Sadly I can't find the link to the photo and I didn't save that photo in my desktop.
With burn and dodge effects used.
