Things have been running a little bit slow on this blog of late… I caught something nasty a few weeks back and am still recuperating from it. I think I caught the nasty bug from somebody who sneezed at me…bleehhhh

Saw this Retweet (or was it a copy paste?) at Yamato Toy’s official site from an original Tweet at DIGIMIXStudio. I hope I’m reading it correctly, because to be honest, I have a hard time understanding the tweets at twitter because of its shortened state and unique address syntax, signs of old age creeping up at me…*snicker* Well if I am reading it correctly we can expect a Ghost and Lancer II garage kit (as well as some others) to be released this year for the 30th Year Anniversary of Macross.

This site officially turns 3 years old today. Saw this via Hackaday. Makerbot announced the release of the Makerbot Replicator. It offers a slightly larger work area than the original Makerbot 3D Printer as well as an option to add a double extrusion head to allow for two colors when printing. Check out the video above for details. Price will be $1749 plus a little bit more if you get the double extruder head.
