Haman Karn’s AMX-004 Qubeley made first famous in Zeta Gundam. This was the first mobile suit I saw that used a funnel system as its offensive armament. For the Qubeley it was a 10 funnel system that was stored at the tail of the mobile suit and could be controlled by the new type pilot. This mobile suit used a psycommu system to interact with the pilot and in combat was considered deadly because maximised the superior reflexes of a newtype.

The RGM-89S Stark Jegan from the Gundam Unicorn OVA that is all the rave right now. This design looks plain in my eyes but it looks really good being chopped up by Marida Cruz with her Kshatriya *snicker*. The Stark Jegan is one of the mobile suits of the Federation forces.

The 1/72 Buster Tortoise from Kotobukiya. Not really fond of this design because these types of zoids are not really frontline-edge-of-the-sword type of mechas. These are mostly back-end-in-the-rear-with-the-gear types. But they do pack a wallop with the weaponry they carry. More like mobile artillery pieces in the sphere of mech warfare which provide blanket support during an offensive maneuver.

While researching on Astro Boy I found out that via the MangaEntertainment Channel at youtube you can actually watch the Robotech Episodes Online.

I’m really out of the loop when it comes to the Gundam Unicorn OVA that is coming out this year. So was surprised to find out that Volume 1 of the DVD is available on March 12 this month on a world wide release schedule. This means that it will already have English version in it.

Back to some more translations of Color Guides. This time for the 1/72 Iron Kong made by Kotobukiya into a model kit. The Iron King is one of the living mecha that can be found in the Zoids anime franchise.
