The 1/72 Buster Tortoise from Kotobukiya. Not really fond of this design because these types of zoids are not really frontline-edge-of-the-sword type of mechas. These are mostly back-end-in-the-rear-with-the-gear types. But they do pack a wallop with the weaponry they carry. More like mobile artillery pieces in the sphere of mech warfare which provide blanket support during an offensive maneuver.

Back to some more translations of Color Guides. This time for the 1/72 Iron Kong made by Kotobukiya into a model kit. The Iron King is one of the living mecha that can be found in the Zoids anime franchise.

Since I’ve already gone ahead in translating the color guide for the 1/72 Gun Sniper from Zoids, might as well translate the color guide for my favorite zoid design, the Blade Liger. Well this is one specific for the 1/72 Blade Liger made by Kotobukiya.

Was actually quite surprised when I found out that Zoids comes in model kit form. Growing up I already saw Zoid toys, was quite curious as to what they were when I first saw them because they looked like mechanized beasts turned into war machines.
