HobbyLink Japan announced today a sale on items with only a few stocks remaining and which won’t be restocked once the last piece is sold. This includes, toys, model kits, figures and a whole lot of other stuff. I didn’t seem to see any popular gunpla’s on the list, which shouldn’t be bad because it just means that Gunpla’s are here to stay *snicker*

The much awaited Master Grade PMX-003 “The O” of Paptimus Scirocco from the Zeta Gundam anime series that had been announced for an August 2010 release by Bandai. What’s a bad guy without a kickass bad guy mobile suit? “The O” perfectly fits the calculating profile of Paptimus Scirocco. Massive, overbearing and dominating, like the guy’s personality. Shneaky to, what with the hands that come up from his crotch to surprise you during hand-to-hand combat *snicker*

Funny, after my over-dramatic post on Gundam Builder’s Block I actually found the urge to assemble the head of the 1/100 NG Cherudim Gundam that I was working on right after I hit “publish” on that blog post.

Writers have writer’s block, model kit makers have what? Opened up the box of the non-grade 1/100 Gundam Cherudim that I was building, looked at the parts still needed to be assembled/painted, made me sigh a long one… then I promptly closed up the box without proceeding further. No gusto to build this. I wouldn’t want to switch to another kit either because the anal-rententive side in me would compel me to finish what I’ve started.
