Hobby Link Japan just announced that they are holding a sale on Transformer toys. With sales like these on HLJ, my usual recommendation is to come in early, not dilly-dally and check the item out right away. After observing these sales on HLJ for quite some time I’ve noticed that items really get snapped up quickly.

Hobby Search announced that they are extending their SAL commemorative sale till March 31. This anniversary sale commemorates the adoption of Hobby Search of the SAL method of shipping for their international customers.
Scheduled for release on March 4 is Macross Chronicle 43. Preview of the pages listed below.
Character sheet will have Maximillian Jenius of Macross DYRL.

Saw this a few days late from the Yamato Toys official blog. Looks like Yamato toys is going to be releasing a VF-19 Kai of Basara Nekki in 1/60 scale perfect transformation by 2010. Along with that is a 1/60 soft vinyl of Brittai from the original Macross Series.
Saw this picture at Amiami’s blog of a Klan Klan figure wearing a VF-25 Messiah’s Super Pack. Since its from Megahouse, I guess it would be logical to assume that it is a 1/8 scale figure. This was taken from the ongoing 2010 Wonder Festival in Japan.

Just saw this now on Amiami’s english website. And the battle for online anime retail supremacy heats up with this announcement! Traditionally Amiami has always had one of the lowest prices (usually 20%+ off on model kits), add the 50% discount in shipping and you have yourself a fiesta in February!

Update (02/11/2010): Whoa, it seems like it has been extended further till the 28th of February and because of which I also realized that its a leap year this year *snicker*
Update (02/04/2010): Looks like the sale has been extended till the 11th of February.
Online Anime and Hobby Seller, Hobby Search, announced that they were having a sale from February 2 to 10, 2010 to commemorate the start of their SAL shipping service.

Scheduled for release on February 4, 2010 is issue 41 of the Macross Chronicle. While on February 18 will be the release of issue 42. Previews for the two issues were already posted at the Official Macross Frontier blog.
Issue 41 previews include:
Mechanic Sheet: The Vajra of Macross Frontier. They are said to be biomechanical weapons, as in live beings that produce their own weapons. In the Macross Frontier series they were even shown as having the capability to adapt like the Borg against their enemies. Without the “assimilation” factor of course *snicker*
