Released this month by Bandai was the 1/144 High Grade Model kit of the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (Unicorn Mode). Like the Unit 01 of Gundam Unicorn, the 02 Banshee’s pycho frame and face is hidden in its default unicorn mode.
According to Wikipedia, Banshee is derived from an Irish word that means “woman of the síde” or “woman of the fairy mounds.” According to Irish Mythology a Banshee is a female spirit that begins to wail when it senses death. This makes her an omen of death and a messenger from the Otherworld. She usually appears as either an old hag or a beautiful woman.
Also released this month by Bandai was the 1/144 High Grade Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee in Destroy Mode as well as the very awesome looking 1/100 MG Full Armor Unicorn Gundam.
