Revisiting 1/72 VF-25G Valkyrie Messiah Part V

1/72 VF-25G Valkyrie Messiah

Great weather today so I was able to finally finish up on this re-touching. It was also a time for me to experiment with the colored pencils that I bought. Part IV of this build could be found here.

First the bad news. I broke off the neck. Turns out that with the layer of top coat, it made the neck ball joint connect tightly with the head. I accidentally broke it when I was trying to turn the head.

Tried the white colored pencil to color the “cheek” part of the head… didn’t turn out so well. But from a far it doesn’t look as discernible… hehehe

So for this photo shoot I decided to use a small mound of clay to stick the head to the neck. Ichabod Crane would be proud *snicker*

Panel lining was done with a 0.5mm mechanical pencil. No other color of spray paint was applied except for a coat or two of Bosny Clear Flat paint. This time I decided to go with the stickers instead of the decals, because I already used stickers during the initial build of this kit.
