Takara Dinobot Swoop

I mentioned before in this blog that I had a Dinobot Swoop toy that I had bought when I was a kid. At that time I really wanted to buy Snarl since he was my most favorite of the Dinobots. Chiefly in part also because the stegosaurus was my most favorite dinosaur. That was when I was into my “dinosaur” loving phase in the second grade. Yep, you could fall in love with dinosaurs without having had to watch Jurassic Park *snicker*

I had saved up about 6 months worth of allowance in order to buy Snarl at the local hobby shop at Christmas time. The sad thing was that when the day came that I trooped to the Hobby Shop, the price of Snarl already went up due to the holidays. So not wanting to go home empty handed I ended up buying Swoop. Oh well, win some, lose some.

According to the markings on the wing, this toy was in the 1980-1984 series. Guess that must mean the production run.
