Finally bought a particle respirator mask for me to use during my painting activities. I only got the single cartridge half mask type instead of the usual double cartridge. It cost me about $8 tops. The filter had to be bought separately from the mask.
I was hoping to get a 3M type but the hardware store I went to didn’t carry that brand of respirator. After a day of testing I noticed that the once white filter had turned a light shade of green. This is because I was painting using a can of green spray paint. Very laborious to breath using this respirator however, which is a good sign because it means that the filter is working to clean the air passing through it.
