A lot has happened already since my last post, but I’m still taking my time. The main limiter has been the painting of the black stripes in the kit. Mainly those found in the wing parts, ankles and front pelvic plate. It would have been easier to have just hand painted it, but I wanted the smooth surface that could only be hand by spray painting.

Here’s the taped up wings and ankles prior to spraying with Pylox Metallic Smokey Black. At the portion of the part where it will be spray painted, I use plastic sealing tape because it sticks more firmly on the part, not leaving any seams that the sprayed paint may seep in.

I bought the plastic sealing tape at the hardware store. I’m not sure if this is the same as the yellow masking tape that the model kit companies sell but it sure looks like it. Its a tad bit cheaper too coming at only $0.5 per roll.
Here’s a shot of the finished up wings connected to the legs. Then there is the painted ankles already as well as the front pelvic armor.

The connector to attached leg to the pelvis is kind of very loose, so i can’t make Kyrios to pose without Action Base. Do you have the same problems? If yes, how do you manage to fix it. I try to use some adhesive glue, but it still can do much.
didn’t have that problem with my Gundam Kyrios. I guess you could try inserting a piece of paper between the joint to make the fit tighter, it that is what’s causing the problem.
