Just another update on the 1/60 Macross SF-3A Lancer II Scratch Built Project that I’m working on. Things are definitely starting to take shape. I have enough parts on hand to create a mock-up of the Lancer 2.

According to a blog entry by Aya Endo, voice actress of Sheryl Nome in Macross Frontier, cast members Megumi Nakajima (Ranka Lee) and Yuuichi Nakamura (Alto Saotome) were at Asakusa for a Macross Frontier Fans Club event.

Yamato Toys just featured in their blog their soon to be released 1/60 VF-1D of Max and Milia used in the Macross episode Virgin Road. According to the post, its going to be available by Sept of 2009 and will retail for about 10,290 yen.

Here’s how I remove the nicks from the 1/60 SF-3A Lancer II project that I’m working on. On this project I’m using plaster of paris as my working medium.

On the areas where there are huge nicks and scratches, I just re-mix a small solution of plaster of paris then dab it on to the area.
