Just wanted to take time out to greet my fellow Dads a Happy Father's Day. My son prepared a card for me and placed it on my desk. It wasn't a surprise because a few days before he showed to me the uncolored version of it and that was when my heart gushed.
He took it out and explained to me what all the little drawings were there for. My tools, my coffee mug, the presents, the rocket engines, the airplanes. This was how my son viewed me and I was surprised that he was pretty accurate of his description. Along with a drawing was a note thanking me for everything I gave and to always be with him. It's nice to know that you are appreciated by the people who you value most in this life. I'm may not be the best Dad but I try the best I can.
