Released this month by Bandai is the 1/100 Master Grade version of the Double Bullet of Asemu Asuno from Gundam AGE anime series. Aside from its default mobile suit mode, the Double Bullet is capable of transforming to a Mobile Armor mode.

From Zeta Gundam comes the PMX-000 Messala made famous by Paptimus Scirocco. Bandai released this as a 1/144 High Grade model kit. Like in the tv series, the scale model of the Messala is capable of transforming to Mobile Armor mode, aside from its default mobile suit form.

Kotobukiya 1/35 Gunhed Unit No. 507 English Manual & Color Guide

Released in 2012 by Kotobukiya is the 1/35 scale Gunhed from the Gunhed movie that came out in 1989. The scale model can transform from G1 mode to G2 mode, sort of like a car mode to a semi-upright mode. After seeing the 507, I can't help but wonder whether this was the inspiration for the Hildolfr?

Unique to this type of platform is that another mobile suit can be mounted on the underside to give it added firepower during a firefight. All I can say is, whoever thought of this is nuts *snicker*

Leons Graves Arms Astray PMC Custom from Gundam Seed Frame Astray was released as a 1/144 High Grade by Bandai in 2008. Another option available when building this kit is to assemble the head part as a Civilian Astray DSSD version.

1/100 Gundam Arios

Just finished building this yesteday, my much long delayed non grade 1/100 Gundam Arios of Allelujah Haptism from Gundam 00 second season. English translated color guide and construction manual for the 1/100 non-grade Gundam Arios are already available. I started a build diary for this but didn't really follow it through.

If I had a 3D printer

I would fix a ton of these... *snicker* Yep, happens all the time. Buy a new pair of scissors, top handle always gets busted after a few uses. They just don't make them like they used to anymore.

Bandai HG 1/144 Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second L English Manual & Color Guide

Released last month by Bandai is Gai Murakamo's Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second L from the Gundam Seed Astray side stories as a 1/144 High Grade kit. I already have the 1/100 of this built. One downside of that kit was that it could easily topple because of the heavy tactical arms on its back. Good thing that Bandai decided to add a small stand to this kit to circumvent that problem. As mentioned for the umpteenth time already, the Astray is one of my most favorite designs to come out of the Gundam Seed Series... it looks like a bloody outdoor shoe! *snicker*

Been meaning to build this for the longest time already and now I was finally able to. The Gundam Astray Red Frame of Lowe Gule from Gundam Seed Astray side story has been one of my most favorite Gundam designs. This kit was initially released in 2004 and is a 1/100 non-grade kit.

Released in 2008 by Bandai is Xist Elwes' Mobile CGUE from Gundam Seed Frame Astrays as a 1/144 High Grade model kit. I like how the designers of this merged your standard CGUE design with the near red shade of the Saviour Gundam and also how the Gundam Astray side story gets expanded by the producers of Gundam Seed.

Bandai HG 1/144 Gouf Ignited (Yzak Jule) English Manual & Color Guide

Released in 2007 by Bandai was the Gouf Ignited of Yzak Jule from Gundam Seed Destiny as a 1/144 High Grade model kit. I still can't get myself to like Yzak Jule, despite his depiction in Gundam Seed Destiny. He will still be the same stuck up pain in the arse guy in Gundam Seed for me.

Air Tank Reconfiguration

Took time out yesterday to buy a new air pressure gauge for my air brush setup and spent the time yesterday putting it together. I don't have my own air compressor, so what I did was I got my Dad's old oxygen tank and been using that to power my trusty Badger 250-2 airbrush. I initially thought that a pressure gauge would be expensive but was surprised to find out that it just cost me $4.00 and change. Been meaning to simplify my setup for the longest time already, to get rid of the stuff that my old setup had but I didn't really need.
